Getting to the Ruxcon venue

Tram

You can catch a tram from Bourke, Collins, Elizabeth and William streets to the corner of Queen St.

The nearest train stations to Ruxcon are Southern Cross and Flinders St. Both are approx. a 10 minute walk to the venue and also provide easy access to trams.

Melbourne Bike Share

On your bike! If you don’t want to walk or tram to Ruxcon, you can always cycle! Bike Share has 50 locations in the city and lets you hire a bike for $2.50 a day (security deposit costs apply).

From Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine (Domestic & International)

Skybus

The easiest way to get to Melbourne from Tullamarine is on the Skybus. This is a non-stop service from the airport to Southern Cross Station (at Spencer St) and takes approximately 20mins.

Services run every 10 minutes, and a two-way ticket costs $26 ($16 one-way). Skybus also offer hotel transfers from Southern Cross.

A taxi from the airport costs approximately $40 and is subject to toll charges.

From Avalon Airport (Domestic flights only)

Avalon is a low cost airport about 40 mins from Melbourne CBD. It predominantly facilitates Jetstar flights.

Coach Transfer

A service to Southern Cross at Spencer St is available and takes approximately 50 minutes.
